Elf Reveiw - Make Up Mist And Set Spray

Hello! Today I'm going to be reviewing a e.l.f's 'makeup mist and set spray' quite a few of you asked me to do a review of this on my last post (click here if you missed it) so here goes! Let me know in the comments if there's anything else you would like a review of ♥

 

Price: £3.75

 

First of all the price is such good value, one of the main reasons I chose to buy it. Other fixing sprays are such as the one from mac are usually over £10! Another of the reasons I brought this is because obviously setting sprays are there to keep your make up on all day which I assumed would help keep you free of shine. This however isn't the case, this spray didn't keep the make up on around my nose enough and actually I think I look more shiny through out the day with this spray on!

Although my make up does definitely stay on better when I apply this so maybe that's just the quality and price being reflected in how well it works.

Another thing is that the distance it tells you to hold the bottle from your face wasn't far enough for me and my make up got so wet it actually started to run!

 

Overall I wouldn't say this is a very good product but I have seen some people really rave about it so I suppose everyone's different! I wouldn't say don't get this because for the price its definitely a good thing to try out. It did keep a majority of my make up in tact through out the day so maybe it would have been a lot more impressive if I didn't have oily skin... booo :(
