Baby Lips Cherry Velvet
Limited edition review and comparison
As you probably know, i'm the worlds biggest baby lips fan. I literally worship you Maybelline for creating these beauty's. Since about August you have been able to buy 6 of these in UK stores, where as you lucky Americans (and Japanese i think) have been able to buy a whole range of flavours, colours and balm types; when i saw this one in Boots i practically screamed. You can get this newly packaged baby lips from boots as a free gift when you purchase 3 Maybelline products, which are on 3 for 2 i believe anyway! I also have the "Cherry Me" balm, which i reviewed here, the scent of this one is a lot more sweet and true to its name has a velvety texture.
I actually think i prefer the new style of baby lips to the originals. I like how they are slim and enclosed, i think it looks a lot nicer and my others look kind of clumpy in comparison. However i can't say there's a massive difference in the lip balm itself except of course the sheer colour that the originals give off, the over all lip salve is long lasting and yummy.
I really hope they bring out the whole collection in the new year, if not it looks as though i shall be racking up quite a bill when ordering these from various countries.
