Roomspiration #1

DIY Glitter Pots ♡

Hey girls!
So this is the first post of my 'roomspiration' series.
I will do a new post every once in a while on how you can make your room look a little bit different or just add some sparkle.

What we're making...
So what i've called 'glitter pots' are basically just jars covered in glitter!
You can use these to store anything you want in from hair clips to make-up brushes, anything you can think of you can put in these gorgeous pots and the best bit is that they're easy to make.

What you will need...
Old jars- You can use any old food jars you have in your recycling or you can buy some, it's up to you!
Glitter- Just a pot of glitter will do, a little goes a long way.
Spray glue- You can get this from most craft shops and even some supermarkets, it's a must have when your making these!

Optional...
Craft Diamonds- To add a little extra sparkle to your jar!

♡ Lets get started...

First of all lay some newspaper or a protective sheet over the surface your working on, this could get messy.

Take your spray glue and spray the inside of your jar making sure it's all covered.
Next pour a generous amount of glitter into the bottom of the jar and shake/roll the jar around making sure the hole at the top is covered. It would be a good idea to put the lid on the jar when your doing this but your hand is fine if not.

Leave your jar to dry for a while, in this time you could be doing the same to any other jars you wanted to make glittery.

Once you think your jar is dry shake it out any excess glitter into a bowl, this way you can reuse it later.

And finished!

I use mine to store my make-up brushes

 Extra...

If you want to add diamonds like i did just take some super glue and apply some to the are you want them with an old brush.
