Models Own Fruit Pastel Scented Polish Reveiw

As i'm sure your aware models own have launched a scented range of nail varnish. There are five colours in the 'fruit pastels' collection, all of which are the most perfect pastel shades. The colour co-ordinate's with the scent so as you can see I have the beautiful lilac 'grape juice' which of course smells of grapes and the equally as gorgeous 'blueberry muffin' which is a sweet fruity smell.

I didn't have to buy these for myself as I was lucky enough to receive two for my birthday a few weeks ago however I think for £5 per bottle for such a well known, good quality brand is very reasonable! For two good quality nail polishes I think ten pounds is an amazing bargain!

My first thought when I began to apply this polish was how opaque and super pigmented it was! With just one coat my nail underneath was barley visible and the polish itself looked exactly the same as it did inside the bottle. I know this sounds pathetic but with almost all pastels I have tried in the past have been almost see through and watery on the first coat. After the first coat the second was just as good and there was no horrible brush lines, something I really hate! However my only complaint is how long it took to dry! I'm impatient enough as it is without having to wait 15 minutes for my nails to dry. But in models own's defence it was about 30 degrees so perhaps it was too clammy or something, I don't know.

Overall I love this collection by models own, I shall definitely be looking to purchase the whole collection in the future, particularly the 'banana split' a gorgeous creamy subtle yellow. Let me know what colours you have in this collection or which one is your favourite.
