The AMA's 2013 best dressed
The American Music Awards took place last night in Los Angeles. The red carpet was stolen by Lady Gaga and her "horse" and the stage was owned by my boo, Ariana Grande. But of course it's the outfits i'm here to rave about. I have selected my top 5 outfits of the night to share with you.
In at number 5 is...
Taylor Swift in this dazzling gold dress by Julien Macdonald and matching Jimmy Choo sandals. I thought i would like Tay's dress a lot more than i do but i was a little dissapointed to be honest. I always love her style and i think she could have done better with this one. Nether the less, she loos flawless in the gold number.
Number 4 goes to...
Katy Perry in this stunning vintage looking dress. The floor length polka dots and delicate roses make a massive change from the leopard print she has been wearing lately. I love this new elegant style and i hope she sticks with it! Her tight curls and little book complete this look. Stunning.
Number 3 goes to...
Jordin Sparks. I don't know what it is about this dress there's just something about it I love. The gold studs and black silk give off a 'rock star' image. Well done Jordin.
Number 2...
The beautiful, Kendall Jenner. I love love love this classy yet revealing little white dress. The nude heels and red lipstick add an elegant touch, along with carefully matched accessorizes keeping the look simple. I also like how her outfit choice isn't trying to make her seem older, she is acting her age and keeping her own.
Number 1...
Ariana Grande. Ari, Ari, Ari, where do i start. She looked so grown up and glamorous in a floor length red strapless dress, covered entirely in sequins. Her hair in her classic half up half down do with her curls more relaxed and in the first stage of her going blonde. She also wore a Dolce and Gabanna ring and the cutest little earrings. Grande got a standing ovation from the likes of Gaga after her showstopping performance of "ta tattooed heart". As if that wasn't enough she won the award for best breakout artist.
