August Favourites 2013

I've decided to do my monthly favorites a little earlier than i usually do because i have such a long list of post's to get done by the end of August.

I don't have an awful lot of favorites this month but im really enjoying the few that i do.
This month I've loved using my mac 187 brush to apply foundation. I apply my usual amount to my hand, dot it around my face and almost buff it into my skin using a circular motion. The brush itself has the softest bristles of all the mac brushes i own. At first i was afraid to use this brush because of the pure white tip but after the first use im over it and im surprised to say it doesn't even look bad.
I've never blogged about a book before but early this month i somehow ended up watching book trailers on youtube and this one looked so good i ordered it right away! It's by Sarah Weeks and is called So B. It. It is a novel about a girl whos mum is mentally disabled and the only other person she knows is agoraphobic so she is essentially trapped in her small flat all her life until she takes the leap and decides to go and find out who her mother and she really are and travels to her mum's old home.
