July Favourites 2013

 

Hello loves. 

I can't believe it's August already! Where is this year going? 

4 months until Christmas... whaaaaaaaaaat

 This month i've been more into re-discrovering old favourites rather than new ones.

With the weather being like a constant heatwave in the UK, which im not particularly a fan of i must admit, its almost not been worth wearing make-up which is why i only have three beauty favourites. It must be a record me for me.

Beauty

 

 1. My first favorite from July is an MUA lipstick. MUA are the cheapest drugstore brand and the quality of their products is surprisingly un reflecting of the price tag. I brought this lipstick in shade 3, a bright pink/fuchsia, for just £1 however i would go as far as saying the quality is almost the same if not better than my mac lip colors. I also use this lip stick as a double up for blush, for a pound you cant go wrong!

 2. i have recently done a blog post on this Essie polish (you can see it here) it's in the shade "funny face". It's my go to summer nail polish. "Funny face" is a gorgeous creamy pink that is so easy to apply and super long lasting. It's got to be one of my favorite polishes of all time from the name to the application, it's perfect.

3. My last beauty favorite is kind of my "marmite" product. I either love it or hate it. It' something i may have mentioned before, Rimmels wake me up foundation. For a while now i've been loving it again, plus it has spf in it so it's great for summer.

Summer read

This month i've fallen in love with seventeen mag. And not just because Ariana was on this months issue ;)

It's got some great interviews and beauty tips in there plus is actually more than 10 pages of rubbish like most uk mags are (seventeens american). But don't worry you can get it in the UK too from newsagents like whsmiths.
