Sunday, Strawberries, Sugar and Sun

As i woke up today with the sunlight glaring through the gaps in my blinds it was evident that the weather had lived up to it’s expectations. I decided to make the most of this strangley sunny winter day with nuttella covered waffles topped with some strawberries (i thought i wouldn’t feel as bad knowing i’d also had one of my 5 a day). I sat in my garden, enjoyed my breakfast treat and un-successfully tried to photograph my dog sleeping, which is probably what i’ll continue to do until sunset.

How are you enjoying this sunny Sunday?

Spring Stroll

I know it's not officially spring time until the 20th of March but it sure does feel like it. Flower's are beginning to bloom and the sun is shining. Me and my mum stopped of on the way back from school for a stroll in my local forest and fields and i decided to snap some pictures, we also found this fox. What i think is a she, was sat just in-front of us we could have reached out and touched it if we hadn't panicked and tried to sneak away before it killed us. Haha.

OOTD and London Lanes

On Sunday me, my mum and step dad took a trip to Brick Lane and spitalfields market for some vintage shopping. I love London and it's little quirks. It has things you simply wouldn't see anywhere else; from the street art to the people.

Topshop Lipstick "Hazard" | Reveiw

I personally believe. Topshop lipsticks are the Crème de la crème of the lipstick world. Having tried various higher end lipsticks such as mac (which i personally am not a big fan of) I can genuinley say all of my Topshop ones have been of higher quality than ones i've paid triple the price for.

I received "Hazard" for Christmas from my mum who clearly understands my love for the brand. It's a gorgeous bright red, which contrarily rather suits my pale complexion. For any fellow blue eyer's it really compliment one another.
Hazard is super pigmented and has a creamy texture, meaning your lips stay moisturized and eliminating cracking in the colour. Also, like every other Topshop lip stick I've tried it is extremely long wearing! On Monday i went to see Taylor Swift at the O2 arena, I done my make-up at 4 and didn't get home until 2am; Lipstick still flawless!

If you've read my reviews before you'll know that i'm a sucker for packaging and Topshop isn't one to disappoint. The stripey them throughout Topshops make-up range is adorable, each lipstick has a hand-drawn feel with the pencil like text and sketched lines.  I love how they keep it monochrome meaning every lipstick shade looks equally as pretty in the container. The cardboard tube it comes in is also super cute with a chalk board look to complete the drawing theme

Topshop's lipsticks retail for £8 each which is pricier than some drug store brands but a complete steal when it comes to quality and in comparison to high end beauty stores.

I give the "lips" range

Tanya Burr Lips and Nails

Tanya Burr is a beauty guru and trained make-up artist who has been vlogging and blogging since October of 2009. Last night in London she celebrated the launch of her Lip gloss and nail polish collection "Tanya Burr's lips and nails". The hashtag has been circulating various social media sites for months now so i'm super excited to finally catch a glimpse of Tanya's products, which i'm sure will be as beautiful as their creator.

Tanya has released a range of 10 nail polishes and 12 lip glosses, the glosses retailing for a price of  £6.99 and the nail polish at £5.99. Both are super affordable at drugstore like prices.
- All products are available NOW from feel unique -

The lip glosses all claim to "Offer state of the art finish and performance, each one coming packed with moisturizing ingredients to feed and hydrate the lips" I really like how Tanya, as a make-up artist herself, has reviewed copious beauty products and no doubt has a sturdy understanding of what works well. I have high expectations!

The nail polishes are my personal favourites. I'm not a big lip gloss lover but nail varnish however is my weakness. Feel unique describes them as "long lasting, chip resisting and non fading" and i'm hoping they live up to that. I can't wait to order both a lip gloss and nail polish, I will be doing a review on each when they arrive.

I shall be purchasing "little duck" the gorgeous duck egg blue varnish and have been eyeing up the equally as beautiful "vampire kiss" gloss. What are your favourites? You'd better get buying as the collection is selling fast, the adorable lilac pink "afternoon tea" has sold out already!

Winter Warmers

So I think it's safe to say I am suffering from a severe case of bloggers block. I haven't written a blog post in what feels like forever, I just haven't been motivated at all. I have had exam's recently and so all my time has been taken with revision and I've been cooped up in bed with the flu. But I've decided to ease myself in by showing you what has been getting me through the cold and grey-ness that is January.
So this month I finally gave into my topshop cravings and purchased the adorable bear jumper, it's so cute and so cosy, you get lots of compliments if and when you have the courage to wear it in public. I've also given into my longing for a pair of Chelsea boots and have been living in these babies. They look great styled with tights and a collared dress. My beauty warmers this month have been the Miss Sporty perfect stay foundation and my trusty eos balm. On my search for a shine free foundation I think I have finally found it, this foundation is super cheap but keeps my face matte all day. The eos balm is just perfect when it comes to stopping those chapped lips, inevitable in the cold winter months.

Feel free to leave a comment telling me what "winter warmers" are getting you through this grey January. There will hopefully be posts a lot more regluarly as I battle my bloggers block. Love you all xx

What I Got For Christmas 2013

Merry Christmas my loves. I hope ya'll had a magical day filled with food and family. I started the day by waking up at my dads house, spending the morning opening and exchanging gifts, listening to Christmas music and getting ready for the day. I think getting ready is one of my favourite things about Christmas, it gives you an excuse to dress up and use any new bits you got for Christmas. Next I was off to my cousins house for a Christmas breakfast with her and her husbands family before returning to my mum's house, eating loads more, opening more presents and of course, watching doctor who.

I didn't really ask for anything in particular i just wrote each of my parents a list of ideas (which they kept asking for) and dropped hints along the way. I've been so lucky over the past years and on various birthdays that no when faced with the task of asking for things I find it impossible to think of anything I actually need. Anyway, today I'm going to be showing you what I received, I love reading these post's so I hope you enjoy it and that you don't interpret it to be bragging; which it most definitely is not.
OVERVIEW

Bath and Body

It was my mum who filled my up this adorable "potions" basket with various goodies. I got body shop cleansers, a toner, tweezers, vintage print nail files and a few other bits that don't fit the category. I also got the "have a sweet Xmas" gift box by Lush from my cousion, which contains my favourite bubble bar - candy mountain so I loved that present so much. Another few lush products i got were the "sex bomb" and "space girl" bath bombs which I canny wait to use!

Perfumes
I didn't ask for any perfumes this year so i was spoilt. My friend Brooke brought me the Victorias Secret fragrance mist in the scent "vanilla lace" which I have wanted for ages and absoloutley love so thanks Brooke! She also got me this super cute Belle perfume as a little extra which smells surprisingly lovely. The next two were from my mummy, the smaller one is by body shop and smells beautiful, just like the store! Last but not least, the pink bottle is Audrey Hepburn - Breakfast at Tiffanys; I have seen this around for ages and loved the packaging but i'd never actually smelt it and oh my god it's lovely. I have no idea on how to describe a smell so i'm just going to say that it smells almost like a mens aftershave has been mixed with the nicest smelling womens one.

Bedroom bits
As you probably know I recently moved house and have only just got my room to how i wanted it so little bits like this are super appreciated. There seem's to be a running Paris theme with the Eiffel tower canvas and Paris tins which I love; There's also a gorgeous vintage style picture frame and from my friend Katie a frame containing some of my selfies with the Vamps (love you Katie).
